Denver, CO
DIA officials have launched a five-year capital-improvement program that includes 39 new gates and renovation of the Great Hall—the Denver airport’s tent-roofed terminal, a central gathering point for travelers and home to a variety of shops and restaurants. The terminal and concourse projects, both begun in 2018, are proceeding as private-public partnerships involving numerous contractors. The Concourse B West project consists of a 3-story, 90,000SF expansion including four additional domestic travel boarding gates, four passenger holding areas, a partial basement, and up to 45,000SF of paving.
Lerch Bates provided a robust quality assurance program to assist the Turner-Flatiron JV in achieving GCP’s Preprufe Watertightness Warranty of the below-grade sheet waterproofing.
