About Matthew
Matt joined the Lerch Bates team with over 21 years of construction contracting experience. The first 9 years of his career were spent with a prominent general contractor gaining knowledge of the overall design process, constructability, and management of the building enclosure trades on high-profile projects. He then spent 12 years in senior level management with a commercial waterproofing and insulation subcontractor gaining knowledge and expertise in the application of thermal and moisture control materials. Matt is currently working at Lerch Bates providing building enclosure consulting and testing services in new construction for various clients, such as Owner/Developers, General Contractors, Architects, Subcontractors, and Commissioning Agents. His proven leadership, experience, ownership, integrity, team mentality and passion to help our clients are evident in how he manages each project and interacts with each project team. Notable projects include DFW Airport Automated People Mover, Launch Complex 3 at Vandenburg Air Force Base, Dallas Tower & Mercantile Building, UT Arlington Engineering Research Building, Perot Museum of Nature & Science, Toyota North America Headquarters, and Children’s Health Medical Center Expansion.
