Chris Jones, Director of Information Technology – brings over 27 years of experience in the field of information technology (IT) and has a diverse background in both private and public sector operations, with extensive experience in analysis, design, development, and implementation of datacenters and cloud applications. Chris currently oversees the IT Operations division and sets IT direction and coordinates infrastructure and service delivery for Lerch Bates Inc. Implements the enterprise computing; and oversees hands-on development and implementation of IT planning, projects, and operations required in running a multi-tiered network environment. Specialties include hybrid datacenter and cloud system administration, network infrastructure development, field operations support and development, security, systems integration, and telecommunications. Responsible for ITO units which support enterprise applications, enterprise data, research and development, user support, infrastructure, communications, and data security.

Leading and motivating an IT team utilizing Microsoft Infrastructure, Server, and Support technologies. Leadership of development groups with hands-on problem identification and resolution. Carrying technology concepts through research requirements, planning, development and integration.

Chris’ foundation of technical expertise stems from a hands-on development and leadership background along with project management and implementation experience running a multi-tiered network. He possesses leadership skills from within numerous functional areas that include system administration, network infrastructure development, field operations support and development, security, integration and operation support of business-critical systems.
