Eric Rupe

Appointed CEO in January 2024, Eric Rupe leads 400+ employee-owners at Lerch Bates, a 75-year-old multidisciplinary firm of trusted experts delivering optimized lifecycle building performance. With 30 years of experience in various industries including vertical transportation, consulting and marketing, Rupe provides oversight and P&L responsibility for Lerch Bates’s global operations from the company’s Denver headquarters. Since he was named President in 2020, Rupe has directed multiple strategic acquisitions, vastly improved internal operations and procedures, celebrated a YOY increase in ESOP valuation, grown LB’s employee-owner headcount by 35% and expanded services and specialties to better meet the needs of LB’s clients. Rupe also serves as the sole Internal Executive Board Director for Lerch Bates Inc., representing the interest of LB’s ESOP participants on the majority-independent LBI Board of Directors.
