Lerch Bates, the world’s oldest and largest international consulting firm for vertical transportation, façade access and logistics, has promoted industry veteran Steven Frame to regional manager of the Orange County and San Diego markets.
Frame joined Lerch Bates in February 2014 and served as project manager, elevator consulting group, in the firm’s Lake Forest office in Orange County, Calif. As a project manager, he managed vertical transportation consulting services for design, inspection, maintenance, due diligence and modernization throughout Southern California. He is now tasked with growing Lerch Bates’ market share in Orange County and greater San Diego and managing the firm’s diverse projects.

Frame worked in project management and superintendent roles for Otis Elevator Company and as an elevator and escalator project manager and field superintendent for Mitsubishi Electric prior to joining Lerch Bates. He worked on the vertical transportation systems of many landmark buildings including the four-star Omni San Diego Hotel, Kaiser Permanente Medical Centers throughout Southern California, CNN Building in Los Angeles and the newly renovated Los Angeles County Hall of Justice.
