Dewar Partnership Ltd., a London-based lift and escalator consulting firm recently acquired by Lerch Bates Inc., announced that Colin Burrowes and David Doyle have joined the company as vertical transportation consultants. The announcement comes as Dewar Partnership continues to increase its market share in the United Kingdom and plans expansion throughout Europe.
Burrowes joined Dewar Partnership with more than 30 years of experience in the vertical transportation industry. Prior to joining the firm, he worked as an independent lift consultant throughout the United Kingdom. He also has served as a regional sales manager for KONE Great Britain as well as for The Express Lift Company and Evans Lifts Ltd., both subsidiaries of OTIS. Burrowes is a graduate of Northampton College of Further Education and Nene Technical College (now The University of Northampton).
Doyle recently served as a portfolio sales manager for Schindler Group were he grew the firm’s client base and negotiated new and expiring contracts. He also worked for ThyssenKrupp Elevator as a new business development manager and as a service account manager. Doyle’s professional qualifications include accreditation to ISMM advanced management coaching.
Lerch Bates Inc. announced on Dec. 2, 2014, that the firm reestablished operations in Europe with the purchase of Dewar Partnership Ltd., a London-based lift and escalator consulting company. The firm also announced at that time Steve Fall, with more than 38 years of valuable industry experience, was named managing director of Dewar Partnership. Matt Scanlan, a 42-year industry veteran and previous owner of Dewar Partnership, remained with the firm as an executive director and as a member of its Board of Management.
