Vertical Transportation Firm Continues to Grow South Central Region
Lerch Bates announced Megan Shaw has been named project manager, elevator consulting group, for the international consulting firm’s South Central Region office in Dallas. Shaw joins the expanding project manager team of Lerch Bates as the the company continues its regional growth.
In her new role with Lerch Bates, the largest and oldest vertical transportation, façade access and materials management consulting firm in the world, Shaw is tasked with managing modernization services and vertical transportation analyses and designs for new construction projects in the region. She most recently was instrumental in the project designs of the new Carl R. Darnall Army Medical Center at Fort Hood, Texas, and new headquarters of The Richards Group in Dallas. In previous years she also worked as a business development manager and a service account manager; overseeing service agreements, modernizations, upgrades and capital planning.
“Megan brings to Lerch Bates invaluable experience of analyses and designs of elevators systems for new-construction projects,” said Lerch Bates President and CEO Bart Stephan. “Our South Central Region contains some of the country’s fastest growing large cities and we are strategically enhancing our presence in the area. Construction projects are continually being announced and Megan will play a pivotal role as we improve our market share in Texas.”
Shaw earned a Master of Business Administration and a Master of Arts from Ottawa University in Ottawa, Kan. She also holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in communications from the College of Charleston in Charleston, S.C.
