Dewar Partnership Ltd., a London-based lift and escalator consulting firm and subsidiary of Lerch Bates Inc., announced that Chris Manning has been named director, new development, vertical transportation. Chris previously served as a senior consultant, vertical transportation, for Lerch Bates Inc.
Chris has nearly 30 years of skilled expertise in designing vertical transportation systems for all sectors of the industry including commercial, residential, hotel, retail and transportation. In his new role with Dewar Partnership Ltd., he will manage all new design projects and will concentrate on business development by establishing new and developing existing clients in the United Kingdom and throughout Europe. Chris will work closely with world class architects and design teams, from initial traffic analysis to final acceptance inspections, to ensure systems meet each client’s requirements as well as are in compliance with all relevant codes and standards.

Chris has worked on many landmark projects throughout Europe and beyond including The Shard and Salesforce Tower (formerly Heron Tower) in London, Torre Cepsa in Madrid, Istanbul Tower Levent in Istanbul, Port Baku Towers in Baku, Azerbaijan, CCTV Headquarters in Beijing and Central Market in Abu Dhabi, UAE. He earned a Higher National Diploma (HND) in mechanical and production engineering at Middlesex University.
