Lerch Bates, an employee-owned international consulting firm for vertical transportation, façade access and logistics, announced Moufid Hilal has been named managing director of its Dubai, United Arab Emirates, office. He joins the world’s oldest and largest elevator consulting firm with more than 23 years of experience in the vertical transportation industry.
In his new role with Lerch Bates, Hilal will oversee the management functions of the Middle East and Africa regions and will continue to develop the firm’s new construction consulting services and modernization and maintenance management functions. He previously served more than two decades in the vertical transportation industry including roles as a service engineer, technical engineer and branch manager of KONE’s Abu Dhabi branch. Hilal most recently worked as a regional manager for Mitsubishi in Saudi Arabia.
