Lerch Bates, an employee-owned international consulting firm for vertical transportation, façade access and logistics, announced Maquel Houlihan has been named consultant, elevator consulting group, in its Las Vegas, Nevada, office. She joins the elevator consulting firm with more than 18 years of local experience in the vertical transportation industry.
Houlihan will provide elevator consulting services for new equipment design, modernization design and work, maintenance audit work and due diligence studies and services in her new role with Lerch Bates. She also will be responsible for vertical transportation studies, construction services and vertical transportation maintenance evaluations.

Houlihan’s career in the vertical transportation industry began 18 years ago when she held various sales positions with Otis Elevator. During her tenure with the company, she consistently ranked as a top salesperson in the firm’s Western Region and earned numerous accolades and awards. She most recently served as an existing installation sales representative for Schindler Elevator Corporation, overseeing some of the largest properties in Las Vegas including Caesars Entertainment (Bally’s, Caesars Palace, Cromwell, Flamingo, Harrah’s Las Vegas, Harrah’s Laughlin, The Linq, Paris, Planet Hollywood and Rio), World Market Center and several Howard Hughes properties. She holds an Associate of Science degree in business management and health science.
