The successful person in this role will collaborate with the Human Resources and Accounting team to ensure a timely and accurate payroll, including time administration, registration and set up of new State and SUI accounts.  Reconciles monthly payroll accounts as required by accounting including reconciliation of vendor invoices.  He or She will provide detailed and accurate reports to business leaders and auditors when requested, and maintains proper financial reporting controls. The right person for this role will be dedicated to the payroll profession and providing top notch service to employees.

Key Qualifications

  • 3+ years of payroll processing experience required
  • CPP preferred.
  • Understanding of payroll related deductions (annual limits, 401K contributions, FSA/HSA)
  • Working knowledge of multi-state payroll tax rules and regulations.

Other Requirements

  • Demonstrated communication, analytical, time management and organizational skills required.
  • Intermediate skill level in Microsoft Excel required.
  • Previous experience in ADP/Workforce Now and Deltek software highly desirable.
  • International payroll experience is desired but not required.
  • Must be able to work with cross-functional teams, independently and take direction from a      variety of sources to meet standards and deadlines.
  • Must enjoy very detail-oriented work.
  • Will be required to provide back up and support to other areas of Accounting as needed.
