The Assistant Project Manager is a prime point of contact and support for the Strategic Accounts Team consultants and at times, clients.  As such, the Assistant Project Manager will work with the Lerch Bates consultant/s and at times the client, to provide world-class service by being responsive to both the consultant and client’s requests and inquiries, understanding the consultant’s and client’s challenges, assisting with resolving challenges relating to vertical transportation equipment and related contracts as an intrepid advocate for our clients and support .  This role will track all client issues and resolutions accurately and timely, administer and organize project activities and perform administrative duties for the consultants.  This Assistant Project Manager will handle numerous tasks simultaneously, working closely with the account lead consultant and client to respond to client inquiries, assist consultant in administrative support, review invoices, manage client and consultant requests, and work with all parties to provide problem resolution.

  • Must enjoy detail-oriented work and be able to juggle multiple priorities.

Other Requirements

  • Proven successful employment history, with experience in the construction trade or existing building trade preferred.
  • Previous experience with project specifications, RFP, bid preparation, negotiation, wards and change order is advantageous.
  • Bachelor’s degree required.
  • Intermediate to advanced skill in Microsoft Office Suite programs.
  • Previous experience in the elevator industry is preferred but not necessary.
