For more than 10 years, John S. McGirt has helped his Lerch Bates clients with consulting services and project management for buildings throughout the Mid Atlantic states and internationally. Prior to joining the company, John earned a BS degree in Marketing Management from the University of Southern Mississippi and worked for eight years at General Elevator and Dover Elevator Companies in sales, coordination, estimating and management positions. Located near the US Capitol in Washington, D.C, John has extensive experience in headquarters buildings for many federal departments and many other well known institutions. Among his interesting list of projects is the Hart Senate Office Building and the Department of Transportation Headquarters, Washington, DC; the Census Bureau Headquarters, Suitland, Maryland; and the Patent Trade Office Headquarters, Alexandria, Virginia. John has worked with the National Institute of Health in Bethesda, Maryland and the Smithsonian-National Museum of American History in Washington, DC. John’s complete list of projects includes several other equally significant and prestigious properties.
