Executive Vice President Jay Popp has had an impressive 30-year career with Lerch Bates. He is currently Executive Vice President for the Asia-Pacific region and Middle East. Jay’s extensive international experience in vertical transportation consulting has included roles in engineering, architectural coordination, and project management. Jay has worked on many high-rise buildings and major hotels in Buenos Aires, Dubai, the Middle East, Bangkok, Kuala Lumpur, China, and Russia. Projects in China include the Nanjing Financial Center in Nanjing, China, Plaza 66 Phase 2 Office Building in Shanghai, China, Wenzhou Lucheng Plaza Landmark Tower in Wenzhou, China, and the Qindao International Shipping Center in Qingdao, China.
Jay has consulted on more than twenty iconic stadiums and arenas, including the Atlanta Olympic Stadium in Atlanta, GA, USA, Bank One Ball Park in Phoenix, Arizona, USA, Invesco Field at Mile High in Denver, Colorado, USA, the Charlotte Arena in Charlotte, North Carolina, USA, Soldier Field in Chicago, Illinois, USA, Lambeau Field in Green Bay, Wisconsin, USA, and Madison Square Garden in New York City, NY, USA.
Jay holds a bachelor’s degree in Environmental Design from the University of Colorado, Boulder, CO.
